WDNR Open House Meeting

Greetings to all TFF-TL POA Members,

We recently received notice (shown below) from WDNR about an “open house” type meeting on March 22, 2018 from 4-6 pm at the Manitowish Waters Town Hall.  The purpose of this meeting is to gather feedback regarding a potential new ATV trail inside the TFSWA project boundary.

TFF Water Level Graphs 2017

The top graph shows the water level of the Turtle Flambeau Flowage (TFF) for the year 2016 and 2017, Maximum Summer Drawdown and the functional Utilization Level on a weekly basis. The lower graph shows the trend of the TFF Discharge Rate in cubic feet per second on a weekly basis for 2016 and 2017 and the mandated Minimum Discharge Rate. TFFTL-POA 2014 Survey

The 2014 Recreational Use Survey (“the survey”) was conducted during July and August of 2014. The survey was initiated by the Association’s Board of Directors in order to obtain measurable input and opinion from members on the topic of potential new or expanded recreational activities inside the Turtle Flambeau Scenic Waters Area (TFSWA). Walleye Regulations on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage

On December 6th at 6:00 PM a meeting was held in Mercer at the Haines Building to discuss 1) the results of the DNR’s recent comprehensive walleye population survey on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage, and 2) potential changes that could or should be made to walleye regulations because of the findings of this survey.
